Joe Rucker’s Lawn Care & Small Tree Removal Services originated in the small city of Statesville, North Carolina. A grandfather & his grandson traveled the city providing services to the elderly & to those who lacked the equipment
to do the job. Joe Richardson Rucker (grandfather) Joey Rucker (grandson) both joined forces to provide affordable services in the city of Statesville. During his childhood, Joe Richardson Rucker was stripped of his opportunity
to attend the public-school system and was forced to work doing manual labor jobs to make a living.
Over time, Joe Richardson Rucker had children 6 girls and 1 boy who passed at birth. This hurt him badly because he always desired to have a son to teach new things. Joe had a host of grandchildren but there was one that was named
after him, Joey Rucker. As a child, Joey sought to be like his grandfather being that he possessed an intriguing level of lawn care knowledge. From that moment, they worked together daily during the summer and spring seasons providing
lawn care services in the community.
As time progressed, Joe grew older and was unable to get around as well as he was in his younger days. Joey realized it and proceeded to start a lawn care service 10 years prior to his grandfathers passing. Joey utilized everything
Joe taught him as a child. Joey mowed grass for extra money during his moments in college and graduate school. Until this day, Joey is CEO of Joe Rucker’s Lawn Care & Small Tree Removal Services.
Overall, Joe Rucker’s Lawn Care & Small Tree Removal Services is founded on the bases of two things: (1) the drive of a grandfather to teach his grandson a legal way to make a living (2) the drive of a grandson to build something that
would make his grandfather proud. Today, Joe Rucker’s Lawn Care & Small Tree Removal Services serves 4 to 5 counties and has been active for over 15 years under Joey Rucker’s leadership & guidance. Joe Richardson Rucker’s memory
is not in vain and the name continues to gain more and more popularity day by day.
